Coaching Statement: Our 50’s and 60’s provide us a unique and exciting opportunity to look at and reconsider patterns of behavior that no longer serve us well, to explore honestly our priorities and what is important to us at this time in our lives, and to create a plan for moving in that direction. Coaching Experience: For the past five years, I have been coaching individuals on a variety of issues, principally involving significant life transitions, a deeper awareness of self, moving out of old patterns and habits, and becoming clearer about, and pursuing, new goals and objectives. It is no surprise that I am drawn to coaching Third Launch participants in uncovering and achieving some long neglected dreams!

Coaching Statement: Someday is here. We may have done the right thing at the right time for decades but what is the right thing now? As a coach, my goal is to play a critical role in answering that question, helping you to inventory your resources -- including your dreams, to learn to let go, to avoid defaulting to the comfortable old ways, to experiment, to commit to live the life you deserve, to find and widen the places where life feels good and light, to achieve some measure of peace and of greatness on your own terms!

Coaching Experience: As my first career drew to a close, I found myself increasingly acting as a coach to my team and to valued colleagues across the company. In the wake of a dramatic merger, I retired and continued that journey obtaining my Hudson coaching certification. I now actively coach others who are seeking or facing dramatic changes in their lives. My clients come from a variety of backgrounds and are at varying stages in their journeys of reinvention. They often include lawyers, financial services professionals, and other coaches.

ThirdLaunch Specialty: I am deep into the space of life we are calling Third Launch. Being a little ahead of the boomer, I thought a lot about what this part of life would bring. I knew it was up to me to create a life of meaning - to use all my talents, to learn new things and to be of use to the world. I’ve never wasted my time, and I didn’t want to do it now as I came into my 60’s. I specialize in helping all people pinpoint their true values, discover interests they have or didn’t know they had, and help them marry their values and passions with their strengths to find a life of purpose and fulfillment. I have a special interest in mature people who want to use this time to live a life of authenticity, to discover new things about themselves and then to enjoy life in this new age of sage.

Coaching Statement: I help people go from being stuck to being unstuck. My expertise is coaching people who are experiencing change or approaching transition and wish for a new energy in their lives. I like helping people uncover what they really like to do in life, and help them use their true values to create a life of enjoyment, fulfillment and meaning.

Coaching Experience: I’ve worked very successfully in the news and entertainment industry for the past thirty years. Whichever position I held, whether it was heading up a production company, running newsrooms, creating programming, or being the talent, at the center of my approach in working with people was a coaching model. Now I’ve taken my natural propensity and turned it into a full time practice of individual coaching and seminars. I am certified by Hudson Institute as a personal and professional coach and trained in the authentic happiness model taught by Martin Seligman PhD of the University of Pennsylvania.

ThirdLaunch Specialty: A specialized training in hospital social work focused on patients with cancer has provided me with unique skills to coach people with multiple issues. In cooperation with health care providers, I partner with people who have mental and physical disabilities as they enhance their lives through improved management of their illness or disability.

Coaching Statement: When coaching leaders in large and small organizations and frequently working with employees of the U.S. Department of State, I coach clients as they solve work, career, and personal issues. These clients often report increased clarity, energy, and commitment to growth. My clients include the Federal Consulting Group and leaders at the U.S. Department of Education, financial institutions and not-for-profits. Having lived abroad and changed careers, I particularly enjoy problem-solving with people in transition.

Coaching Experience: I was program manager for executive development at the U.S. Department of Transportation (Federal Aviation Administration) and for management training at the U.S. Treasury (Internal Revenue Service). I have facilitated workshops for multi-national groups in Vienna and Frankfurt and overseas for the Foreign Broadcast Information Service. My interest in adult development led me to become a coach late in my life and my work with elders continues to energize and inspire me. I am particularly interested in working with adults seeking to make mid-course or late-course corrections in their lives.
