History of The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara
The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara was founded in 1986 by Frederic M. Hudson, Ph.D. Leaving his previous invention, The Fielding Institute — a premier graduate school for midcareer adults where he was the founding president from 1973-1986, he created The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara as a non-degree, adult training center, combining personal, professional, and organizational renewal.
Over the past twenty one years, thousands of participants have attended our original building block, the LifeLaunch™ program, which results in life-career plans for the next chapter led by one's purpose and passion.
Since its inception, The Hudson Institute has been creating and developing curriculum, training models, and materials for working with professionals who want to renew and reinvent a life chapter, refine their coaching and mentoring skills, and develop leadership skills.
Now in our twenty-second year of operation, we conduct seminars and leadership training in Santa Barbara as well as customized in-house training seminars and packages for companies.
